Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or voice control.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How the site is built

  • Plain HTML that works without JavaScript; the forms work without it too.
  • Every page has one main heading, landmarks and a skip link.
  • Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Forms have visible labels, mark which fields are required, and explain errors in words.
  • No image carries meaning on its own, and nothing moves or flashes.

How we check it

Each release is checked on every page, at desktop and phone widths, with automated accessibility tests (structure, labels, names and contrast) and with a keyboard only. We haven't yet tested it with a screen reader; that comes next. Last review: October 14, 2026.
