About
About Humanoid Works
Humanoid Works is a research and development project of Netuck Holdings, based in Mount Vernon, Washington. Our goal is humanoid robots that do real work in the construction trades.
Part of Netuck Holdings
Humanoid Works is a brand of Netuck Holdings. Netuck Holdings also owns Washington Construction, a Washington general contractor, where our field testing is planned. Humanoid Works is run by the team behind Washington Construction.
Why we started
The idea goes back to early 2024, when we began picturing robots and crews sharing a job site: robots carrying, lifting and doing the repetitive work, people doing the skilled work and staying in charge. Robots have improved quickly since then, but construction sites remain one of the hardest places for them to work. We want to help change that, starting from the job site rather than the lab.
How we work
- Say plainly what exists and what doesn't.
- Test on real work, with people's safety and consent first.
- Name no partner and report no result before it's real.
- Keep licensed work with licensed people.
